The Eclectic Laboratory Chamber Orchestra (E.L.C.O.) presents “In C-lebration: Not a Holiday Concert” featuring performances by musicians of E.L.C.O. and The Brass Roots of new music pieces. As 2014 marks the 50th anniversary of Terry Riley’s ‘In C’, E.L.C.O. will celebrate the anniversary of this seminal minimalist work with a party-style performance featuring the musicians of E.L.C.O. along with some special guests.

E.L.C.O. is a grassroots collective of young professional orchestral musicians that explores connections between diverse musical genres and traditions by promoting a broad range of repertoire that includes modern classical music, new interpretations of older classical works, and original arrangements of rock and pop compositions. The Brass Roots are committed to translating the experience of the symphony hall to the more intimate setting of chamber music through dynamic musicianship and innovative programming.
