JOHN BERNDT (co-founder of Baltimore’s High Zero Festival of Experimental Improvised Music) performing solo (on electronics, reeds, inventions, etc.)and in duo with

MICHAEL JOHNSEN (on homebuilt electronics and musical saw.)

the concert will begin with an improvised set by

DAVE BERNABO (guitar, etc.)

STEVE BOYLE (electronics, percussion)

EDGAR UM BUCHOLTZ (cornet, etc.)

and

MATT WELLINS (homebuilt electronics, reeds, etc.)

John Berndt is the co-founder of the High Zero festival in Baltimore, whichs hosts musicians from all over the world on an annual basis. John also runs the Recorded Music label, which has released many Henry Flynt records and is possibly responsible for bringing him back in style. John is also co-founder of the Red Room performance venue in Baltimore, which regularly hosts adventurous experimental, composed, and jazz music.
